Grand Rapids Christian returned to form on Tuesday night in a Conference Tri with Caledonia and host Kelloggsville. In their opener against Kelloggsville, the Eagles offense erupted for 27 kills (hitting eff. 0.357) and 12 service aces in a 25-9, 25-8 rout. Jack Scholten led the way with 5 kills and 0 hitting errors. Gideon Cebulski and Braden Brouwer added 5 kills and 4 kills respectively. Alex Rakotomalala had 5 service aces. In their second game, Grand Rapids Christian matched up with Caledonia, and again the Eagles offense was dominant in a 25-10, 25-12 victory. Alex Nelson led the Eagles with 7 kills and 0 hitting errors. Megi Shinetulga had 4 service aces and 4 digs in the win. Next up for the Eagles is a home dual against Kalamazoo Christian on Thursday night.
