The Grand Rapids Christian Boys Varsity Bowling Team defeated East Grand Rapids by a score of 26–4 in their final regular season conference match. The Eagles took time to recognize their seniors — Braeden Busscher, Ryan Lautenbach, and Ben Sytsma — as they competed in their last conference match of the regular season.
The Eagles split the Baker games with EGR but secured the point for total Baker pins. They then swept the individual games to seal the victory.
Braeden Busscher rolled a solid 380 series with games of 196 and 184.
Ryan Lautenbach added games of 134 and 191 for a 325 series.
The highlight of the night came from Ben Sytsma, who had the crowd holding its collective breath after striking through the first nine frames. He added another strike in the tenth before finishing with a nine-open for an incredible 288 game, contributing to a standout 448 series.
A memorable night honoring the seniors and celebrating a strong team performance. Go Eagles!
