Eagles Lose: 52 - 69
The season drew to a close Monday night as the Eagles faced a very talented and competitive West Catholic team. Right from the start, the Falcons showed what they could do and the Eagles had to quickly adjust to a quick and hot shooting team. Emma Witte rose to the occasion in the first sinking some buckets and Liv Brunink took over in the second quarter to leave the Eagles only down 9 to go into halftime. Haily McBride made a surge in the third quarter playing lockdown defense on an amazing D1 commit. However, the Falcons found some runs with their supporting cast to increase the lead in the 4th. Liv Brunink was the lead scorer with 20 and Emma Witte followed with 13. The Eagles played their hearts out in a hard season of basketball and the coaches could not be more proud of these 6 seniors leading the way. Sad to see it go, but the fight was evident and we cannot wait to see where these seniors end up!
