Eagles Lose: 3 - 4
For the last time this season, The JV Eagles Baseball team was home against EGR. Ben Rusticus was on the mound in this one, pitching 6 innings and allowing 1 earned run. Some defensive miscues led EGR to score 4 runs early. The Eagles showed some good fight, but came up short losing 4-3. Quinton Sall was 2-2 with an RBI and a double.

Eagles Win: 9 - 0
No- Hitter Alert!!! In Game 2 on Monday, Jackson Isaacs went 5 no-hit innings until Ben Rusticus came in to close it out. The whole lineup was active this game, winning the game 9-0.  The last game of the season is on Wednesday against EGR at Home.

Eagles Win: 12 - 1
The JV Eagles Baseball team had two games on Monday at East Grand Rapids. Noah Funk pitched stellar going complete game. (6 innings) The offense was scorching as well, with big RBI's from Tevon Vanderkodde and Charlie Walters. The Eagles won 12-1.

Eagles Win: 9 - 4
The JV Eagles baseball team was at Lakeshore highschool on Saturday for a doubleheader. In Game 1, Charlie Walters had a quality start and gave the offense a chance to win. GRC had timely hitting all game, including a homerun from Jackson Isaacs. The Eagles won 9-4 In Game 2, the Eagles could not avoid the big inning from Lakeshore. This game ended 17-4. The final week of the season is among us with 3 final games against East Grand Rapids.

Eagles Lose: 1 - 4
JV Eagles Baseball was at Forest Hills Northern on Wednesday to finish up the series. It was Jackson Isaacs on the mound in this one, going 4 innings scoreless. In the bottom of the 4th, the Eagles were able to scratch a run across to take a 1-0 lead. A series of walks and clutch hits for FHN in the 5th proved to be the difference. GRC lost 4-1.

After a competitive Game 1, The Eagles came out strong but couldn't hold on. Noah Funk started this game and kept it competitive before some defensive miscues put FHN on top. The Eagles lost 8-1.

Eagles JV Baseball was back home on Monday against Forest HIlls Northern. In an offensive game 1, GRC fell short after a solid battle. The team had 12 hits, and scored 9 runs. It was not enough as the Eagles lost 13-9.

Eagles Win: 11 - 1
The Eagles JV Baseball team was back in business for Game 2 against Greenville High School. In this game, it was Isaac Hubka on the mound and he contributed 3 innings of No-Hit baseball. Noah Funk and Tevon Vanderkodde provided 2 RBI's a piece. The Eagles totaled 21 stolen bases as a team and won 11-1.   The Eagles head to Greenville on Wednesday for game 3 of the series.

The JV Baseball team was home at Gainey on Monday against Greenville High School. In Game 1, Ben Rusticus threw a gem, going complete game (3 innings) without allowing a run. RBI's were provided by Ben Rusticus and Colton Laufer. The Eagles won 15-0.

The JV Eagles played Byron Center in gsme 3 of the series on Wednesday. 3 early RBI's from Jackson Isaacs proved to not enough be for the Eagles. Defensive blunders and timely hitting lead BC to a win.    The Eagles play again Monday against Greenville.

The Eagles picked up a shortened game two from Monday, on Wednesday at Gainey. A back and forth battle from both teams ended with Byron Center edging the eagles out on a controversial walkoff. The Eagles lost 8-9. Isaac Hubka pitched 4 strong innings, allowing 3 runs.

The JV Eagles baseball team was at Byron Center for a doubleheader on Monday. A strong offensive attack from Byron Center and some defensive miscues for GRC were key parts in this game. The Eagles lost 12-2.

The Eagles were outmatched in Game 2 again, losing by a score of 13-1. GRC struggled on both sides of the ball in this one. They play a doubleheader Monday at Byron Center.

Eagles JV Baseball played two games against Hudsonville on Friday. In game 1, it was Ezekiel Heerema on the mound going 4 1/3 innings giving up 3. Christian ended up losing the game 10-7. Noah Funk had 2 RBI's.

Eagles JV Baseball was at Forest Hills Central for game 3 of this series. An offensive show was put on by FHC, beating the Eagles 18-0.    The Eagles will play a home doubleheader against Hudsonville on Friday.

The JV Eagles baseball team lost a well fought battle in game 1 against Forest Hills Central. The final score was 9-13. Ethan Ogle was able to provide a lot of offense for the Eagles. Tyler Porte's pitching performance kept them in the ballgame.

Eagles Lose: -
GRC JV Baseball took the crown at the Unity Christian Invitational this weekend, winning two games. In Game 1 against Calvin Christian, a 5 inning no hitter from Ezekiel Herrema let the Eagles offense unleash. It was a 10-0 Final after 9 runs in the 5th including a grand slam from Noah Funk.   In Game 2 against our host Unity Christian  Ben Rusticus earned the win for Eagles. The righthander went seven innings, allowing one run on eight hits and striking out three. Brock Barron went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits. The defense was stellar committing no errors.

Eagles Win: 12 - 2
The JV Eagles baseball team completed the sweep of Northview on Wednesday. The 12-2 win was lead by Charlie Walters on the mound, tossing a complete game. Luke Gelderloos, Jackson Isaacs, Tevon Vanderkodde and Walters all had two knocks for the Eagles. The Eagles are now 7-2 on the season. The JV Boys Baseball Team will be back in action this Saturday at Unity Christian in the Christian Schools Invitational.

Eagles Win: 13 - 1
The offense continued to produce in game 2 of the doubleheader at Northview. Ezekiel Herrema through a complete game allowing only 1 run over the span of this six inning ballgame. Eli Van Drie knocked in 3 runs over 3 hits, Ben Rusticus also knocked 3 runs in. The Eagles won 13-1.    Game 3 of the Northview Series picks up on Wednesday at Gainey.

Eagles Win: 13 - 3
The Eagles JV Baseball team was able to bounce back from last Friday's loss in game 1 of this doubleheader, winning this ballgame 13-3. Isaac Hubka and Noah Funk provided 3 hits a piece, while Luke Gelderloos knocked in 4 runs. This was all the offense needed for the Eagles as Ben Rusticus and Hubka threw quality innings to limit Northview to 3 runs.

The JV Boys baseball team finished up their series against Lowell at home on Friday. The game started off offensively with Lowell scoring 3 in the first, and the Eagles scoring 2 in the second. Defensive miscues from the Eagles led Lowell to a 13-3 Win. Ethan Ogle was 2-2 with an RBI in this game.

The JV Boys baseball team bounced back from game one in powerful fashion. Shutout pitching performances from Ben Rusticus and Isaac Hubka allowed the offense to explode for 11 runs. Ethan Ogle and Brock Barron both drove three runners in, while Tevon Vanderkodde and Charlie Walter knocked in two runs. The Eagles look to win the series against Lowell HS on Friday.

Eagles Lose: 2 - 7
The Boys JV Eagles were back in with a double header following spring break. Ezekiel Herrema kept the eagles in the ballgame allowing 2 runs over four innings. Defensive miscues in the back half of the game proved to be the downfall for the eagles. Luke Gelderloos was 1-3 with a double, Charlie Walters was also 1-3.

Eagles Win: 16 - 4
The Boys JV Baseball team took on South Christian for their third game of the season.  Behind strong starting pitching from Ezekiel Heerema, the offense was able to put up five runs in the first inning of this 6 inning ballgame. Luke Gelderloos and Charlie Walters contributed two hits a piece, while Jackson Isaccs came across to score 4 runs in the game. The hitters stayed hot and ended the game 16-4.  The Eagles move to 3-0 on the season and will return after spring break against Lowell HS.

Boys Junior Varsity Baseball vs. Montague 10 -5 The Boys Junior Varsity Baseball team started off their season on a high note, with a 10-5 victory in Game 1 of the Double Header.  Strong Pitching Performances from Ezekiel Heerema and Charlie Kileen gave the offense a chance to win the game. A Tevon VanderKodde triple and an Isaac Hubka double were some of the key hits for the Eagles on Saturday morning.

Boys Junior Varsity Baseball vs. Montague 23-0 The JV Eagles Baseball Team took Game 2 of the day in powerful fashion, in a game lasting only 4 innings.  Noah Funk and Ethan Ogle combined for 4 innings of No-Hit Baseball for the Eagles, giving the hitters a chance to explode! Jackson Isaacs contributed a homerun, while Luke Gelderloos had a day with two doubles. The JV Eagles move to 2-0 to start the season.
