Eagles Win: 67 - 33
The Boys Junior Varsity Basketball team hosted the Lowell Red Arrows in the season finale. The Boys Junior Varsity was short handed with players. The Eagles did not want to use that as an excuse not to perform well. All season long the Eagles thrived on perimeter shooting. So, the Eagles wanted to continue that in the last game of the season. The goal for the Eagles was to shoot at least 30 threes. By the end of the game The Eagles had well passed that mark. The team got off to a good start with there first basket being a three pointer. The Eagles made 4 threes in the first quarter. At the end of the first quarter the Eagles led 16-2. The Eagles continued to push the tempo led by Efe-Postel finding the shooters. Defensively the Eagles, guarded all the Red Arrows actions well, which allowed the Eagles to get into transition and get easy layups/ transition 3s. At the half the Eagles led 32-10. The second half was dominated in the same fashion as the Eagles continued to play team basketball with moving the basketball from side to side and finding the open man. The Eagles made 6 threes the second half and 12 total for the game. The Eagles won 67-33 over the Red Arrows. The Eagles were led in scoring by Jonas VanderWoude with 31 points (7 three pointers). Camden Seth had a break out game as well with 15 points (5 three pointers). Efe-Postel ran the offense for the Eagles and ended up with double digit assist.  It was a great season for the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Eagles. They finish the season with a 12-1 record. The Eagles look to get better this off season and start preparation for next season! GO EAGLES
