We had some close matches, but the depth of East really shinned during our match. It was a good match, and we all enjoyed the nice weather.

Eagles Win: 6 - 2
The girls bounced back in a great way following our loss. Everyone played a great hard fought match. I saw lots of improvement throughout the entire match among everyone. Our volleys/net play is something I have stressed big this season, and yesterday that was on full display. Everyone showed me they got better throughout the day. Overall, I was very proud of the team. We look to keep that ball rolling today! Go Eagles!

The girls played one of the deepest programs in the state, and arguably to best program in the state yesterday. We played a lot of good matches, especially our 1 and 2 doubles. One doubles played their best match despite not walking away with the win. 2 doubles had a rocking first set, but came back looking like a whole new team in the 2nd set. Both matches I fulling believe we could have won. We look to bounce back today and bring back the win!

Eagles Win: 5 - 3
The girls had a great day to play tennis in, which is long over due! I was very impressed with everyone’s performance on court. We did a very good job of controlling the things we can control, and limiting our mistakes. We made adjustments to our game as needed, and really played 8 clean matches today. Most impressive match today was our 1 doubles who played a very impressive match. They played a nearly perfect match, and that was thanks to their great net play. Very aggressive at the net which lead to a lot of easy points won for them. Overall we had a great day of tennis! Go Eagles!!

Eagles Lose: 4 - 4
The girls had to play in some of the hottest weather this year, which is a task by itself. We had some really close matches, but wasn't quite able to walk away with the win. The improvements from the start of the season to now where very noticeable. I am very happy with where we ended up. We had a great season, and it was filled with lots of great improvements!
Girls Junior Varsity Tennis vs. Lowell High School

Eagles Win: 5 - 3
The girls traveled to Lowell yesterday, and once again having to deal with less than ideal conditions. The whole team has shown a lot of heart this year with having to deal with really tough weather. Nobody on the team has ever given up during a match, and that alone says a lot about the team. During our match, we preformed very well throughout every flight. In the matches we did lose, we lost a lot of very close deuce games. This match could have very well been our second straight sweep. The most outstanding match on the day was a very competitive 1 doubles match consisting of Jena Momeyer and Val Weissenberger. This match was the best match I have seen so far this year. The duo played really well through to first few games, but really came alive to win 3, almost perfect, games in a row to finish out the match. Overall, it was a great team win and we will be looking to keep the ball rolling this Friday when we play on our home courts.
