Eagles Win: 28 - 2
For the start of the final game of the regular season we took a moment to recognize the seniors.  Joey Rauwerda, Brad Szotko, and Gabe Dorner.  All have been great teammates and a pleasure to work with on and off the lanes.  In the final regular season match the Grand Rapids Christian Boys bowling team started out in a good spot by sweeping the Baker Games and Baker total pins from the Lowell Red Arrows.  A strong first regular game led by Levi Heeerema shooting a nice 191, the boys extended their lead by another 8 points and securing the win.  Our Eagles Boys never looked back taking another 8 points in the second regular game and over all total to win the match 28 - 2 over the Lowell Red Arrows.  Great team effort, nice job Boys

The Eagles Boys struggled early to find their stride in the match vs. the Greenville Jackets Bowling Team.   We dropped both Baker games early on, but rallied later in the regular games with Jerry LaRue leading the way with a great 212-215 set of games.  The boys were close on the remaining games but came up a little short falling to the strong Jackets, 9-21.  Just a few spares to fall our way could have changed the entire outcome of the match.  Get them next time boys.  Nice shooting Jerry!

Eagles Lose: 11.50 - 18.50
Very nice shooting by Joey Rauweda today.  He fired off a 220 during the first individual match follwed by a 199 to top the East Grand Pioneers in Regular games.  Unfortunatly, jitters had got the best of the boys and the Pioneers swept the Eagles in the Baker games to take the overall match 11.5 to 18.5.  A good warm up match for the season.
