Julia Geesin 

Parents: Laura Bolenz Geesin and Kevin Geesin.

Julia has been on the GRC varsity softball for 2 years she has played softball for a total of 5 years. Julia’s favorite memory from softball is Panda practice during her sophomore year. She would like to thank her family, friends, and coaches. Julia plans to attend Michigan State University and is majoring in neuroscience. Her favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." 

Lauren Holkeboer

Parents: Jill and John Holkeboer

Lauren has been on the GRC varsity softball team for 4 years and has played softball for a total of 10 years. Lauren’s favorite memory from softball was last year when our game in Greenville got rained out and the team got to go to Jimmy John's together and hang out. She would like to thank her parents for always keeping her involved in softball leagues when she was younger to help her get to this point in her life. Lauren plans to attend Grand Valley State University and is majoring in cardiovascular sonography. Her favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Gabi Mora

Gabi has been on the GRC varsity softball team for 2 years and has played softball for a total of 6 years. Gabi's favorite memory from softball was playing wiffle ball games during practice. She would like to thank all of her teammates, especially Karina (her sister). Gabi plans to attend Columbia College Chicago next fall, for a BFA in musical theater and hopes to minor in dance as well. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.'"

Greta Vance 

Parents:  Stacy Vance and  Simon Vance

Greta has been on the varsity softball team for 4 years and has played softball for 13 years. Greta’s favorite memory from softball is the Ottawa Hills tournament, panda practice, and breakfast before districts. She would like to thank her parents, grandparents, and siblings. Greta plans to attend Saint Louis University for Occupational Therapy and Spanish next fall. Greta's favorite Bible verse is Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

Abbe Diemer 

Parents: Holly and Dave Diemer

Abbe has been on the GRC varsity softball team for 4 years and has played softball for a total of 14 years. Abbe's favorite memory from her 4 years is her first home run against Covenant Christian. She would like to thank God for the opportunities, her dad for sitting on a bucket for hours catching balls for her, and for her mom for driving her to every game. Abbe plans to attend Calvin University and is majoring in Kinesiology. Abbe's favorite Bible verse is Romans 12:12 “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
