Carson Custer

Parents name: Greg and Karrie Custer

Favorite Memory in GRC Baseball: Winning a state championship.

Plans for next year: I will be attending Michigan State University to study kinesiology and exercise science, as well playing baseball. 

Who I’d like to thank: I would like to thank my family, coaches, and friends for always supporting me. 

Favorite Bible verse: Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.”John 13:7 

 

Jackson Groen

Parents: Dan and Claire Groen

Plans for next year: study biology at TCU

Who I’d like to thank: I’d like to thank God, my family, my coaches, and my teammates for always helping me grow as a person and as a player.

Zeke Heerema

Plans for next year: Baseball at Calvin university

Who I’d like to thank: I’d like to thank my parents for always being supportive and encouraging and my brothers as well.

Jackson Isaacs

Parents: Ryan and Adrienne Isaacs

Favorite Memory in GRC Baseball: Hitting the walk off 3 run home run against east in the district final my sophomore year.

Plans for next year: Playing baseball at Western Michigan University and studying business. 

Who I’d like to thank: I’d like to thank my parents and the rest of my family for giving up everything to make my goals possible, as well as all of the coaches I have had who have helped me become a better player as well as a better person. 

Favorite Bible verse: He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 

 

Charlie Kileen

Plans for next year: Going to the University of Tennessee 

Who’d I like to thank: My grandpa for going to most of my games for my whole life

Joey Lukezich

Parents: John and Jennifer Lukezich.

Favorite Memory in GRC Baseball: Is joking around with my teammates and having fun together.

Plans for next year: go to North Central Michigan College in Petoskey to study business.

Who I’d like to thank: To everyone one of my coaches and my tutor Mrs Doles for always being there to help me with my school work and being a great person to look up to.

Cannon Paul

Favorite Memory in GRC Baseball: Winning the State Championship with my team in 2023 and hugging Remmy on the bottom of the dog pile, finally knowing all the hard work paid off.

Plans for next year: Studying nursing and playing baseball at Grand Rapids Community College

Who I’d like to thank- I’d like to thank God for all he has blessed me with, and I’d like to thank my family and my friends for supporting me throughout my time here. And I’d like to personally thank my Dad for always pushing me to be a better player and a better person.

Favorite Bible verse: The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. Plans for next year: I will be attending calvin University to play baseball. I do not know what I will be studying yet.

Who I’d like to thank: I would like to thank my brothers and parents, for pushing me to be the best person and player as possible. As well my grandparents for coming to all my games and being my biggest supporters.

Plans for next year: Studying economics at the University of Michigan

Who I’d like to thank: My mom and dad for paying for everything and always coming to games. My siblings for sitting through long days of baseball.
