The Eagles needed their tough defense in the second half to get past the Maroons. The Eagles held the Maroons to only 14 points in the second half while scoring 25 points of their own. Defense continues to be the focal point to the Eagles early success. The Maroons shot 44% from the floor and 25% from behind the arc. The Eagles went to their full court press to take the Maroons out of their offense in the second half. Offensively, the Eagles got great support from the bench.
This was another great team win for the Eagles. Kobe Bufkin led the way with 18 points 5 rebounds. Senior Evan May was solid with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Terrel Givens was a bright spot for Eagles with 8 points and 6 rebounds. Juniors Brian Hunter and Christian Baty combined for 16 points and some tough defense against the Maroons guards. The Eagles will be on the road for their next game December 27th vs. Reeths Puffer High School. The Eagles move to 4 - 0 for the season.
