The Eagles had a chance to compete against the Rockford Rams at the Cornerstone University Holiday Tournament.  The Eagles tough defense gets them another win on the road verses the Rams. The Eagles held the Rams to only 23 points in the first half while scoring 24 points of their own.  Second half defense was the difference in the game where the Eagles only allowed 20 points in the half.  The Eagles started the game with full court pressure which wore the Rockets down as the game carried on.  The pressure was able to take the Rams out of their offensive flow in the second half.  The Eagles supporting cast played well tonight and brought a lot of energy to the floor.

It was another great team win for the Eagles.  Kobe Bufkin led the way with 12 points 6 rebounds.  Senior Evan May was solid with 10 points and 6 rebounds.  Donovan Brown- Boyd stepped up big for Eagles with 9 points and 10 rebounds.  Junior Brian Hunter was solid defensively while adding 8 points.  The Eagles will gear up for league play with the first two games verses Thornapple-Kellogg Trojans and the Wyoming Wolves.  The Eagles move to 6 - 0 for the season.
