This atmosphere was great at the Quest Center with a post season feel for two programs with great tradition. However, the Eagles played from behind in the 1st quarter 17 - 15 against the Sailors.  The Eagles fought hard but were still down at the half 27 - 26.  This was game was living up to the hype.  The half time adjustments paid big dividends for the Eagles in the second half.  The Eagles were able to pull away in the 4th quarter scoring 19 points and holding the Sailors to 12 points.  The Eagles defense came to life in the second half which has been the staple to their success.  However, the Eagles had great balance on offense with four players in double digits.

The Eagles were led by junior Kobe Bufkin's 14 points.  Junior Jared Lary came up big hitting some timely 3 point shots and finishing with 11 points of his own.  Evan May chipped in with 10 points and Donovan Brown-Boyd added 8 points The Eagles will be back on the hardwood Saturday against the Farmington Falcons at the Union Redhawk Showcase.  The Eagles move to 12-0 on the season.
