The Eagles got off to a good start winning the 1st quarter against Forest Hills Eastern Hawks 17 - 12. The Eagles weren't able to carry the momentum into the 2nd quarter closing the half out tied 31 -31. The Eagles picked up the tempo going on a 21 - 15 point run to close the 3rd quarter 52 - 46. The steady offense and defensive play allowed the Eagles to get the home win 68 - 59. The Hawks were able to keep the game close by hitting 11 (3 point shots) against the Eagles tough defense.
The Eagles were led by junior Kobe Bufkin with 17 points. The Eagles got big boost from junior Donovan Brown-Boyd who finished with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Terrel Givens had 10 points and 8 rebounds while Sam VerSteeg chipped in with 10 points. The Eagles moved to 16 -1 overall and 9 - 1 in the OK-Gold conference.
