The Eagles get a home win over the Byron Center Bulldogs.  The Eagles came out tonight playing with pace and looking to create tempo.  The Eagles lead in the 1st quarter 24-11.  The Eagles defense was great throughout the 1st quarter.  The Bulldogs hit some three point shots to keep the game close in the 2nd quarter.  The Eagles were able to still maintain the lead going in at the half 36-30.  The Eagles had a good start going into the 3rd quarter but their defense was not as strong allowing the Bulldogs 17 points in the quarter.  The Eagles fought hard to finish the quarter up 52-47.  The Eagles were able to closeout the 4th quarter with some great defense holding the Bulldogs to 13 points.  The Eagles scored 20 points in the 4th to get the home win over the Bulldogs 72-60. 

This was another great team win for the Eagles.  The Eagles got several contributions tonight.  The guard play was good tonight for the Eagles as well.  The Eagles were led by junior Dono Thames 27 points and senior Delon McCloud's 14 points.  Sophomore Jaylan Ouwinga chipped in with 13 points and Jasiah Rainey finished with 10 points.   The Eagles will be at home Friday night against Forest Hills Central.  The Eagles move to 13-3 on the season.
