Grand Rapids Christian Eagles get another conference road win over the Yellowjackets. The 1st quarter the Eagles defense was stifling holding the Yellowjackets to 8 points and winning the quarter 23 - 7. The Eagles struggled offensively and defensively in the 2nd quarter allowing the Yellowjackets to score 19 points in the quarter. However, the Eagles would take a 32 - 26 lead into halftime. 

The Eagles would start the second half mixing up different defenses forcing the Yellowjackets  into many turnovers. The Eagles picked up their defensive pressure in the 3rd quarter creating offensive opportunities scoring 24 points to push the lead to 56 - 43. The Eagles defense would continue to cause the Yellowjackets problems in the 4th quarter. The Eagles would play good team basketball in the 4th quarter and get the win 70 - 57 on the road. 

The Eagles were led by senior Jaylan Ouwinga's 13 points. Carl Thompson had 13 points. Nate Johnson chipped in with 12 points while Malachi Hooser finished with 11 points. Great to see the Eagles have multiple players in double figures. Eagles moved to 7 - 0 on the season.
