The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles get their 3rd conference road win over the Pioneers. The 1st quarter the Eagles found a great rhythm after being off nearly two weeks. There wasn't a lot of rust offensively and  the defensive was tough. The Eagles defense held the Pioneers to only 7 points allowing them to close out the quarter 15-7. The defense continues to be the cornerstone for the Eagles success. The Eagles found a nice grove on both sides of the ball in the 2nd quarter. The Eagles would take a 30-19 point lead at halftime.

The Eagles would start the second half mixing up different defense forcing the Pioneers into many turnovers. The Eagles would continue to compete in the 3rd quarter creating offensive opportunities off of their tough defense. The Eagles would win the 3rd quarter 45-29. The Eagles defense would continue to cause the Pioneers problems on offense. Eagles played well in the 4th quarter with tough defense and balance scoring getting them the win 62-32 over the Pioneers. Great team win for the Eagles.

The Eagles were led by senior Malachi Hooser's 10 points. Sophomore Carl Thompson finished with 10 points Carter Goodyke and Nate Johnson both chipped in with 8 points apiece. The Eagles will be back on the hardwood Friday against Forest Hills Huskies.
