In the second quarter, the Eagles found their offensive rhythm, putting up 19 points while their defense continued to shine, limiting the Wolves to only 7. Carl Thompson was a standout in the second quarter, contributing 9 points. The Eagles went into halftime with a commanding 31–16 lead.

Coming out of halftime, the Eagles made adjustments that paid off in the third quarter. Their defense continued to stifle the Wolves, while their offense added 19 points, extending the lead to 50–25 at the end of the quarter. The Wolves mounted a late surge in the fourth quarter, scoring 22 points and holding the Eagles to 11, but the early lead was too much to overcome.
