The Eagles traveled to Detroit for the Motor City Roundball Classic Holiday Tournament, facing off against the Shamrocks from Detroit Catholic Central. This event showcased some of Michigan’s top teams.

The Eagles struggled offensively in the 1st quarter due to the Shamrocks' physical defense, which forced several early turnovers. However, they found a better rhythm in the second quarter, outscoring the Shamrocks during that period but still trailing 30-22 at halftime. Their improved defense kept the game competitive.

After the break, the Eagles' offense faltered, with only two players contributing points in the third quarter. Despite narrowing the deficit to eight points, turnovers ultimately derailed the momentum. The Shamrocks capitalized and ended the 3rd quarter ahead, 47-34. The 4th quarter remained closely contested, but the Eagles couldn’t muster a strong enough run to close the gap. The Shamrocks secured the win with a final score of 62-47.
