The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles secured their first home win of the season with an impressive 95-51 victory over conference opponent Ottawa Hills Bengals. Coming off a tough loss to Catholic Central, the team showed great focus and energy as they looked to regroup and execute.
The Eagles got off to a strong start, scoring 23 points in the opening quarter while holding the Bengals to 15. The execution on offense, combined with key defensive stops, set the tone early and created opportunities for high-percentage shots. By halftime, the Eagles had built a commanding 42-24 lead.
In the second half, the Eagles came out with relentless defensive energy, creating havoc for the Bengals and forcing turnovers. Their defense fueled their offense, resulting in a dominant 28-point 3rd quarter and extending their lead to 70-42 heading into the final period. The 4th quarter showcased the Eagles' ability to execute on both sides of the ball. Every player contributed to the scoring column in this outstanding team effort.
