Grand Rapids Christian put together another strong performance on the court, earning a 58-53 victory over the Rangers in a game that would go down to the wire. This win brings the Eagles’ record to 9-4 on the season and highlights their continued development as a team.

The Eagles came out with focused, starting the game strong by putting up 19 points in the opening quarter while holding the Rangers to 12. Offensively, the team looked comfortable and confident in that quarter. The Rangers would switch up their defense to a zone in the 2nd quarter, which caused the Eagles problems scoring only 7 points in the quarter. The Eagles would still take a two point margin 26-24 into halftime.  

The Eagles and the Rangers would play even basketball in the 3rd quarter 42-42. The Eagles would get a couple of big stops on defense against the Rangers to make a run in the 4th quarter. Grand Rapids Christian executed down the stretch, staying poised and focused to seal the 58-53 victory.
