The Eagles traveled just down the road to our cross town rivals East Grand Rapids Friday night. While the Eagles found themselves down by 9 in the first quarter, there were some young leaders that emerged to bring them back into the game. Freshman Zion Belcher-Arill entered the game to contribute a great 3 pointer to add momentum and Freshman Sofie Hulst took over to start the third quarter. Hulst continued this energy scoring all 12 of her points in the second half. Katelyn Larue added her steady fire as the lead scorer on the night again with 17 points. The Eagles will be able to host the Pioneers again in the second round of conference play and will be eager for a win.
