Girls Varsity Basketball Comes Out on Top vs. East Grand Rapids

EAST GRAND RAPIDS HIGH SCHOOL: 43
The Varsity Eagles came out on fire Friday night going on a 10-0 run to start the first quarter. Emma Van Goor led the team on defense and the Eagles dominated on the boards. The Eagles went into halftime up 22-10 and did not stop there. Katelyn LaRue was automatic in transition and also automatic from the free throw line going 10/12 from there. Hannah Sall was a beast on the glass and finished with 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Lydia Sall added 6 assists. LaRue finished as the leading scorer with the game high 23 and the Eagles were able to put away EGR for the first time this season. The varsity girls are back Tuesday night away at Byron Center.
