Girls Varsity Basketball Narrowly Lose to Lowell

The Varsity girls had their work cut out for them Tuesday night as they faced a vengeful Red Arrow squad. However, from the start it seemed the game would fall in the Eagles' favor as Hannah Sall started out dominant on offense and Sofie Hulst was lockdown on defense. The Eagles went into halftime up 8, but Lowell came out swinging in the second half. While the Eagles found some difficulty in the foul column, Lydia Sall gave some great bursts in the second half to keep GRC in the game. With Lowell finding a way to remain nearly spotless from the foul line, the Eagles could not manage to make up for it on offense. Lydia Sall led the way with 19 points, Hannah Sall added 10 and Sofie Hulst added 7 points and 9 rebounds. The girls return Friday night at FHN for their final regular season matchup.
