FOREST HILLS NORTHERN HIGH: 33
Friday night the Eagles closed out their regular season under the lights at FHN. Right away the Eagles took it to the Huskies on offense with big baskets from Katelyn Larue and Sofie Hulst. Emma Van Goor continues to lead the defensive front with forced turnovers and quick transitions. Even with a slower second quarter, the Eagles went into halftime on top. Hannah Sall hit a stride coming out in the 3rd and Van Goor converted on her breakaways. Hulst added some needed pressure and the Eagles found themselves in a better position going into the 4th up 9. Then they put them away in the 4th with lockdown defense and 6 Eagles in the scoring column. Hannah Sall finished with 11 points followed by Larue and Hulst each with 10.
The Eagles finished the regular season 14-6 and second in conference! This was a huge accomplishment in a very strong, Division 1 dominated OK White. The Eagles are back after the Monday bye with a District semi-final Wednesday night in the Quest at 7 pm.
