The Varsity girls finished their regular season Thursday with a night of celebration honoring two of the best people our program knows. Annelle Dykema and Anna VanHeulen have been blessings in every area of their lives and having them on the basketball court with us has been a privilege. Dykema was unable to play due to illness but was able to participate in the opening tip-off in true humble Annelle fashion. With this tone for the night, the Eagles played a great final regular season game. The girls hung with a talented Crusader team, forcing steals and playing great team defense. Paige Ferwerda was the leader on the stats sheet again adding 15 points. Anna VanHeulen fans lined the gym and went wild for her efforts in the 4th quarter, it was a night to remember. Thanks for everything Annelle and Anna, we are all better because you were here.
