The Grand Rapids Christian varsity girls basketball team earned their first win of the season, showcasing a well-rounded effort on both ends of the court. Leading the way was Lilah Poel, who had a standout performance with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. Her second consecutive double-double was a key component in the team's success. Not far behind, Lydia Ydenberg contributed heavily on the boards, grabbing 10 rebounds to help control the glass. Paige Ferwerda was the facilitator of the game, dishing out 7 assists to go along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Her court vision and ability to create opportunities for her teammates was instrumental in setting the tone for the win. Nenfot Darshak came off the bench and made an immediate impact, contributing 5 steals and bringing a spark to the defensive effort. Finally, Charley Hassenrik added a well-rounded stat line with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals.
