The Varsity Eagles were defeated on Saturday with a slow offensive game versus a sharp shooting Zeeland team. Paige Ferwerda led the team with a game-high 12 points and 4 assists, while Mags Cumming contributed 8 points and 3 steals. Keira Dawes dominated the boards, pulling down 11 rebounds. Lilah Poel provided a much-needed spark in transition, helping to energize the team. Despite the effort, the Eagles couldn't overcome the slow start. They will be eager to bounce back and return to competition on Tuesday against Holland at home.
