The Eagles took first place in the Cougar division at the CFE meet at South Christian Saturday morning. The Eagles scored just 28 points, nearly 40 ahead of runner up Holland Christian. The Eagles placed all 7 runners in the top 16 with Natalie VanOtteren 1st, Ellie Scholma 4th, Lilah Poel 5th, Payton Holtz 6th, Annika TerBeek 12th, Adia Sikkema 15th, and Lucy Waalkes 16th.
The Eagle JV team also took first, with 4 runners in the top 6. Hannah Grace Wildschut took first, Sara Huyser 3rd, Anika Bouwman 4th, and Robyn Tatko 6th.
The Eagle Freshmen team took 2nd, led by Zoe Hoekstra in 3rd, Vivi Duncan in 5th, and Gwyn Artz in 11th.
Running PR's on the day included Natalie, Payton, Annika TB, Lucy, Hannah Grace, Sara, Anika B, Zoe, Gwyn, Audrey Brouwer, Julia Duimstra, Robyn Klien, Billah Namutosi, Hannah VanAllen, Anna Watrous, and Makayla Wynbeek.
