Boys Golf Wins Final OK White Jamboree

The Eagles took to the challenging front 9 at Boulder Creek Golf Club on Thursday. Fast greens and lots of demanding shots were out there. There was some great golf being played all around the league today. As a team, GRC prevailed shooting a 156 to win the Jamboree. In second was Byron Center with a 163, and then EGR with a 165.
Scoring for the Eagles was freshman Cooper Reitsma with a 38 (T3 overall), juniors Dylan Clark and Adam Workman who both shot a 39 (T6 overall), and freshman Sawyer O'Gray and senior Alex VandenBerge who each shot 40 (T8 overall). Rounding out the scoring was junior Max O'Grady who shot 41 (T12 overall). Great showing for the Eagles!
The Eagles next match is the OK White Conference Championship on Monday, May 22 at Thornapple Pointe Golf Club. The shotgun tee time is 8am. The Eagles hold the lead in conference play heading into the tournament.
