Girls Varsity Golf vs. Multiple Opponents

The Eagles varsity girls golf team started their season last Friday as they played at GVSU's The Meadows Golf Course. The team shot a 384 total which was good enough to take 9th place out of 18 teams. The team was led by Lily O'Grady who took first place individually! Lily was tied for first originally shooting a 3 under par 70 on a tough GVSU course, and then she took the W in a playoff hole by hitting an approach shot into 7 or 8 feet and draining the birdie putt to win individual medalist honors!
Way to go Lily, and good start to the season for the whole golf team!
