The Eagles welcomed #2 ranked Forest Hills Central to Eagle Stadium for an OK White match-up on Thursday evening. The two teams went toe-to-toe in the first half with both teams threatening to score, but neither side able to break through resulting in a 0-0 score at the half.
Early in the second half, the Eagles were called for a foul in the penalty area, conceding a penalty kick that was converted by the visiting Rangers. The Rangers tallied again 60 minutes into the match on a shot the found its way just into the bottom corner of the goal. Shortly after going condeding, an Eagles defender was issued a second yellow card, disqualifying him for the remainder of the match and leaving the Eagles playing a man down.
The Eagles fought hard to find a way back into the match, but conceded a third goal and a tough shot from distance by the Rangers that was just out of reach of Eagles Goalkeeper, Cooper Hutt. The 0-3 deficit was protected by the Rangers as they came away with the victory on the night.
The Eagles play their final OK-White match on Tuesday night against Byron Center with final seeding for the OK White tournament at stake. The Eagles sit at 3-1-1 in the conference and 7-3-4 overall on the year.
