The Varsity Eagles traveled down the road to take on the Pioneers of East Grand Rapids. After an evenly played first ten minutes, the Eagles began to apply some pressure, which soon resulted in a Peter Borst goal from a perfectly slotted ball through the channel from John Cassiday. Max Visser would add to the visitors lead when he pounced on a giveaway from the hosts and smashed one into the top left corner to make it 2-0. The Eagles would add a third goal in the second half when Borst found fellow senior Soren White off a corner kick. White would scramble it home off his thigh to extend the Eagles' advantage to 3-0. The Pioneers would pull one back late but the Eagles would see out their 3-1 advantage for a solid OK White win on the road.
The Eagles travel to Union on Thursday for a 5:45pm kickoff. Go Eagles!
