The Girls Varsity Soccer Team traveled to Jenison to take on the Wildcats.  The first half remained scoreless, despite several high quality scoring chances for the Eagles.  The second half featured many opportunities for the Eagles, but it wasn't until Ava Barton knocked home a rebound from Charley Hassenrik that the Eagles got on the scoreboard.  Not long after, Hassenrik doubled the lead with a well-placed shot to the far post.   Kaitlynn Trook rounded out the scoring with a shot from the left flank that found the upper corner at the far post.  

 

The Eagle defense stood tall, with Molly Hassenrik, Lydia Ydenberg. Lilah Poel, Chloe Willis, and Zuly Lathouwers managing space well to limit any scoring chances from the opposition. Rogue Tholen and Addie Werdon combined for the clean sheet in goal.  

 

The Eagles are back in action on Friday when they host Ottawa Hills at Eagle Stadium for a 7:15 match.
