Boys Varsity Tennis vs. Multiple Opponents

The Varsity team put up a fantastic effort on Saturday's long day of tennis. Competing out in Holland against Holland HS, FHE and Petoskey meant it was not going to be an easy day. But the boys left with many wins at many positions and look primed to play their best tennis as we head into the most important weeks of the season.
Will Deblecourt and Eli Wise got back to their winning ways with a strong three-set victory over Holalnd HS at #3 doubles. In similar fashion, Mark Vanhekken and Charlie Baker earned their first victory together at #2 doubles with an gutsy comeback victory over Holland HS. Charlie Kooistra and Nick Welch also earned a great win at the #5 doubles position. The performance of the day, however, goes to Nathaniel Zwart at the #3 singles position. Nathaniel won against both FHE and Holland HS and earned himself a silver medal for the day.
