The Eagles varsity volleyball team played Lowell in their first conference match at Lowell on Tuesday night. The Eagles beat the Red Arrows 3 games to 1. Currently GRC is ranked #1 in D2 and Lowell is ranked #1 in D1. The sets were all very close and every point was back and forth. The scores were 25-22, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22. Stat leaders for the night were Evie Doezema with 20 kills and 2 blocks, Stephanie Stewart with 2 blocks and 11 kills, Lauren Peal with 13 digs, Emerson Williams with 12 digs, Liz Rupp with 12 digs, Addie VanderWeide with 14 kills and 10 digs and Alyssa DeVries with 47 assista and 2 aces. The Eagles will take on Northview at home this Thursday night.
