Eagles Volleyball are Division 2 State Champions!!

The Eagles varsity volleyball team played in the State Final match on Saturday night against Lakewood and beat the Vikings in 3 straight sets! The scores were 25-20,25-20 and 25-19. The first set was exciting back and forth action and the Eagles found themselves down 6-5 at the start of the match. Once they settled in the Eagles remained in control for most of the remainder of the three set competition. Stat leaders for the night were Addie VanderWeide with 18 kills, 17 digs, and 2 blocks, Evie Doezema with 11 kills, 3 blocks and 8 digs, Stephanie Stewart with 11 kills, 1 block and 3 digs, Kate Breems with 4 kills, Lauren Peal with 2 aces, 2 assists, and 16 digs, Emerson Williams with 7 digs and 1 ace, Rowan Cebulski with 1 block and 5 digs, Liz Rupp with 9 digs and Alyssa DeVries with 40 assists and 11 digs. This was the Eagles 3rd State Championship in a row. 3 Peat!!
