The Eagles started the week off strong taking down number three ranked Byron Center 3-2 with scores of 25-19, 21-25, 24-26, 25-16, and 15-10. The Eagles played every set with grit and resiliency. This was truly a team win as every member of the Eagles volleyball team contributed and positively influenced the six members on the court towards victory. Kayden Warren led the team with 12 kills and a hitting efficiency of .750. Both her and Savannah Bol led the team in blocks with four a piece. Madison Peal stood against a formitable offense and led with 25 digs alongside Hanna Bredeweg with 18. A big part of the Eagles win came from aggressive first contacts. The team had their best serving game this season with a serving efficacy of 92%. The team was led by Rachel Larsen and Grace Spoelma with two aces a piece. The Eagles play their next match against another conference rival this Thursday, September 21 at 6:00pm at Forest Hills. GO EAGLES!
