JENISON HIGH SCHOOL: 14
The varsity team had a tough night at Eagles Stadium on Thursday hosting the Wildcats of Jenison. The Eagles have seven key players currently suffering from broken talons or battered wings taking the normal 21-man roster down to less-than-ideal numbers for battle. The younger Eaglettes did their best to fight through four tough quarters of lacrosse but just did not have the depth necessary to successfully ward off the Wildcats.
Luke Afman showed a great deal of energy and resilience throughout the entire game, doing an amazing job of demonstrating why he is one of our captains.
