In a thrilling and tightly contested match, the Grand Rapids Christian High School varsity lacrosse team was edged out by Northview High School in a heartbreaker, 4-5. The game came down to the final seconds, where a last-minute goal from Northview sealed the win, leaving the Eagles with a tough loss to swallow.

Despite the loss, Grand Rapids Christian’s performance was nothing short of impressive, showcasing the team's continued improvement throughout the season. Young players, like freshman Ben Jackson, stepped up and delivered a phenomenal offensive performance.

On the defensive side, senior Logan Eaton once again proved to be a cornerstone of the team, putting together another stellar performance. Eaton’s leadership on defense was critical in keeping Northview’s offensive threats at bay for most of the game. 

Although the loss was disappointing, the team’s overall development is clear. The Eagles have shown tremendous growth, with both the young players and veterans stepping up in big moments. The hard-fought battle against Northview exemplifies the team's resilience and determination as they continue to build toward the rest of the season.
