Grand Rapids Christian Varsity Girls Lacrosse won Monday night at home in an exciting game against Hudsonville! Hudsonville fought hard, but our Lady Eagles fought harder! Our Defender of the was Junior Elise DeYoung who battled to the finish at the goal. Junior, Halle Couch, was our Ground Hog grabbing ground balls left and right.  Queen of the Game, Senior Ava Lynn Roossien, played fiercely as a part of the amazing defensive line while usually an attacker proving her versatile lacrosse skills and leading by example. Junior Adia Sikkema earned our Lax Sister award by again being a leader on the field and garnering the most assists. Goals were scored by Juniors Adia Sikkema, Elizabeth Mehney, Emma Visser, Halle Couch, Maggie Doyle, and Freshman Chloe Pegman. Thanks to our fabulous fans!  Eagles Girls Lacrosse plays Grandville away this Friday night at 7 pm.  Regionals! Thursday, May 18th. 6 pm, GR Christian Girls Lacrosse plays our first regional playoff game at HOME! We Love Our FANS! Come support our girls and cheer us on to victory! See you there!
