Grand Rapids Christian Varsity Girls Lacrosse Lost 17-15 Monday night away in a “down to the minute” game against Portage! Our Lady Eagles fought hard, but Portage fought just a little harder. Our Defender of the game was Junior Maggie Doyle for her fierce defense across the entire field. Junior Adia Sikkema was our Ground Hog with the highest number of ground balls scooped. Junior Halle Couch earned our Lax Sister award with the most assists. Queen of the Game, Junior Annelle Dykema, never stopped fighting, playing, grinding until the final whistle blew! Constantly hustling for, and hyping her teammates! Goals were scored by Juniors Adia Sikkema, Elizabeth Mehney, Halle Couch, Maddie Christians, & Maggie Doyle. Thanks to our fabulous fans! Thursday, May 18th. 6 pm, GR Christian Girls Lacrosse plays our first regional playoff game at HOME! We Love Our FANS! Come support our girls and cheer us on to victory! See you there! Eagles Stadium, 6 pm.
