Saturday morning’s match saw the Grand Rapids Christian Eagles face off against Forest Hills Northern/Eastern in a competitive game. Despite a strong effort from the Eagles, they ultimately came up short, facing defeat.
Goalkeeper Glory Afolbi had a standout performance, recording a career-high 12 saves, and keeping her team in the game. On the offensive side, Grace Kelder scored one of the Eagles’ goals, while Lila Jabara also found the back of the net to contribute to the team’s efforts.
The Eagles will look to bounce back as they take on Hudsonville High School at home on March 26.
