GR Christian Varsity Eagles scored six runs in the second on its way to an 11-1 victory over Kalamazoo Christian Varsity Comets on Saturday.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles batters contributing to the big inning included Ty Uchman, Josh Winkle, Cam Seth, and Isaac Hubka, who each had RBIs in the inning.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning, when Jackson Isaacs singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles put up six runs in the second inning.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles put the pressure on, lead by a walk by Seth, a triple by Uchman, a single by Winkle, and a double by Hubka.

Isaacs pitched GR Christian Varsity Eagles to victory. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out five and walking zero.  Charlie Kileen threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

GR Christian Varsity Eagles racked up eight hits.  Uchman and Hubka each had multiple hits for GR Christian Varsity Eagles.  Hubka and Uchman all had two hits to lead GR Christian Varsity Eagles.  GR Christian Varsity Eagles stole ten bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Isaacs led the way with three.

The win improves the Eagles to 7-0 on the season.
