Ty Uchman got busy on the basepaths on Tuesday, knocking four hits in the Eagles's 10-4 victory over East Grand Rapids. Uchman doubled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the sixth.
The Eagles pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kyle Remington singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Uchman singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
GR Christian tallied five runs in the sixth inning. The Eagles put the pressure on, lead by doubles by Uchman and Cam Seth and a sacrifice fly by Josh Winkle.
Uchman led things off on the hill for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing four hits and four runs while striking out seven.
