GR Christian watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-5 loss to Mattawan on Saturday.
The Eagles notched four runs in the third inning. The offense in the inning came from a single by Luke Gelderloos and a double by Isaac Hubka.
Isaacs was on the hill for the Eagles. The lefthander went two innings, allowing eight runs on four hits and striking out three. Josh Winkle, Charlie Kileen, and Hubka each contributed in relief. The Eagles totaled 11 hits. Isaacs, Parker Seth, Hubka, and Gelderloos each racked up multiple hits for GR Christian Varsity Eagles. Gelderloos, Hubka, Seth, and Isaacs each collected two hits to lead GR Christian.
