GR Christian was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Portage Northern Huskies on Saturday. The game was tied at six with Portage Northern Varsity Huskies batting in the bottom of the sixth when Keegan McIntyre drew a walk, scoring one run.
In the first inning, GR Christian got their offense started when Josh Winkle singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.
The Eagles scored three runs in the third inning led by singles by Jackson Isaacs, Cam Seth, and Luke Gelderloos.
Isaacs went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead GR Christian Varsity Eagles in hits.
