FOREST HILLS NORTHERN HIGH: 22
Another tough battle found the Eagles on the wrong end of the scoreboard against the Huskies from Forest Hills Northern. A deep and physical Forest Hills Northern team controlled the line of scrimmage, and the clock, to run away with a shutout victory against an inexperienced Eagle team that continues to fight hard and improve.
The Eagles were lead on defense by physical play from safety Ronin Dixon, linebackers Aidan Bremer and Alec Koval, with solid play in the trenches from linemen Kanye Elliot and Adam Sarjo. Offensively the Eagles received solid contributions from running back Ace Thomas, along with great catches from receivers Brian Hunter, CJ Jones, and Amir Nixon.
The GR Christian team is committed to hard work and improvement. This week a renewed focus on attention to detail will drive the Eagles to continue on the pursuit of their potential. Go Eagles!
