The varsity hockey team lost their first game to Allen Park, 5-2, of a 2 game road trip in Detroit this weekend. The Eagles got off to a slow start giving up three goals in the first period. They bounced back getting 2 goals in the second period. However, they were unable to add any more offense in the third period. Benj Bultema scored in the second period with Max Goodfellow assisting on the goal. Brendan Hofmann added a power-play goal with a one timer from the right side. Assisting on the play were Ashton Bol and Jake Noordewier. Noah Herzhaft played well stopping 45 of 49 shots on goal.
