The Grand Rapids Christian Co-op varsity hockey team lost to Byron Center Saturday evening by a final score of 7-2. Ashton Bol tallied both goals for the Eagles, but they were unable to come up with any more offense as Byron Center proved to be too much. Assisting on Bol's second goal was Corbin Venckus. The Eagles record drops to 5-6-0-1 overall and 3-1 in the conference. The next action for the hockey team is at the Stan Konrad tournament in Muskegon on January 3rd and 4th.
