The Grand Rapids Christian Co-Op hockey team won their game tonight beating Lowell Caledonia 5-0. Isaiah Clark opened the scoring in the first. With assists going to Jake Noordewier and Sam VanSchepen. In the second, the Eagles scored three times. Benj Bultema scored the first of his three goals off a pretty between the legs pass from Corbin Venckus. Tommy Doyle also assisted on the play. Jake Noordewier scored next with assists going to Doyle and Brendan Hofmann. Bultema scored his second of the period with assists going to Hofmann and Ashton Bol. In the third period, Bultema scored his Hattrick goal with a deflection off a great pass from Noordewier. Hofmann had the second assist. Noah Herzhaft stopped all 19 shots to record the shut out win. This puts the Eagles record at 8-10-1-2 overall. And 4-3 in the league. The next two games will be in Detroit this weekend at the Trenton Showcase.
